Content & Projects Assistant

Group is looking for a proactive, dynamic, and detail-orientated assistant to
support the Deputy Managing Director / Managing Director with the running and
logistics of its content and events departments.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with design, content, video, and events
departments to compile assets for internal and external projects, pitches and
meetings.
- Track key editorial and events deadlines, following up
with teams to ensure projects are on track and roadblocks are cleared.
- Serve as a communication bridge between leadership, editors
and central services, ensuring clear and timely updates, tracking and
reporting.
- Undertake special editorial, events or admin projects
ad-hoc, with flair and accuracy.
- Assist with project coordination and cross-department
communications.
- Create Canva presentations, templates, and mock graphics
for upcoming projects, events, and launches.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Support the events department with pre, on-site, and
post-event logistics.
- Manage calendars, organise meetings, and share scheduling
updates.
- At least two years of experience in media or events
business.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle
multiple projects at once and prioritise effectively.
- Proactive and dependable with the ability to anticipate
roadblocks.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills,
highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in content creation for events, editorial, or
social media.
- Strong grasp of Canva, Microsoft Suite, CRM, and CMS
software.
- Understanding of the media landscape in the Middle East,
with a passion for all things media and content creation.
- A balance between creative and analytical thinking.
- Ability to understand the importance of and maintain
confidentiality related to the business and employees.
- Fluent English, fluent Arabic desirable.
