Content SEO Manager / Editor
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Content SEO Manager to lead our editorial SEO efforts. This role bridges the gap between search intent and high-quality content, ensuring our web assets rank well, engage readers, and convert visitors. You’ll own keyword research, content planning, and editing workflows, working closely with SEO strategists, writers, and subject matter experts to scale topical authority across priority clusters.
Key Responsibilities
🔍 SEO Content Strategy
Conduct keyword research and clustering to uncover new opportunities
Create and maintain a content roadmap mapped to funnel stages (awareness → conversion)
Analyze SERPs, user intent, and competitor content to inform strategy
Develop internal linking plans and support topic cluster models
✍️ Editorial Management
Create detailed SEO briefs for writers (target keywords, tone, structure, FAQs, etc.)
Edit and optimize drafts to ensure quality, readability, and SEO alignment
Collaborate with design and dev teams for enriched, on-brand content presentation
Own metadata optimization (titles, H1s, meta descriptions, alt tags)
📈 Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Use tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Clearscope/SurferSEO to track performance
Refresh and update outdated content based on traffic decay and ranking loss
A/B test content headlines, CTAs, or formats to improve engagement and CTR
Report on organic content KPIs (traffic, rankings, CTR, bounce, conversions)

Must-Haves
3+ years of experience in SEO content strategy, editing, or content marketing

Familiar with modern SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Clearscope, Surfer, GSC
Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.)
Basic HTML and on-page SEO knowledge
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with international SEO or large-scale enterprise websites.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup.
Familiarity with A/B testing tools and CRO practices.
Bonus Skills
Experience in scaling topical clusters and hub/spoke models
