Content & SEO Superstar Wanted

Specialty Capital is ranked #165 on the Inc. 5000 and growing fast, and we're building something new: a direct-to-customer content and SEO engine from the ground up, ahead of our 2027 partnership and customer channel push. This is a rare opportunity to shape a brand-new function at a high-growth company, with a direct line to the CEO.

We're not looking for someone to fill a seat. We're looking for a superstar, someone who can own SEO strategy, produce content that actually ranks, and grow into a bigger role as this function scales.

The role:

• Build and execute our SEO/content strategy from scratch, keyword research, content calendar, on-page optimization
• Write 4-8 high-quality articles/month (800-1,500 words) on small business financing topics
• Own landing page copy as our direct sales funnel comes online
• Reports directly to the CEO, high visibility, real ownership, real growth trajectory

Who you are:

• 5+ years of SEO/content experience with a portfolio of content that has actually ranked, not just been published
• Financial services, SMB, or fintech background a plus; you do NOT currently or previously work for a direct competitor in the merchant cash advance / small business lending space
• Self-starter energy, you'll be building the playbook, not following one

Structure: Part-time contract to start (10-15 hrs/week), with a clear path to full-time as the function grows and direct sales launches.
