Position Purpose
Vibe Credit Union is seeking a Content Specialist (Copywriter) with strong copywriting skills. You will own writing assignments from brief through final copy, bringing thoughtful ideas, sound editorial judgment, and a consistent voice to our website, email, blog, and social content. You will also develop website publishing skills and take on broader content responsibilities as your experience grows.
Essential Duties
  • Write and edit website copy, emails, blog articles, social copy, and social-video scripts, adapting each message to its audience and purpose.
  • Develop ideas, headlines, stories, and calls to action that make content useful and engaging while reflecting Vibe’s voice.
  • Research topics, work with subject-matter experts, and verify product information and claims against approved sources. Ask questions and resolve missing details before completing copy.
  • Work with marketing colleagues and agency partners to translate campaign briefs, audience insights, and search recommendations into effective content.
  • Apply SEO and AI-search content guidance to make written content clear, useful, and easy to find.
  • Collaborate with Vibe’s public relations partner to draft and edit press releases, media announcements, talking points, and other external communications.
  • Draft and update marketing disclosures, promotional terms, and supporting copy in collaboration with Vibe’s Risk team.
  • Manage assignments through drafting, review, and revisions. Coordinate feedback, organize files, and communicate progress and deadlines.
  • Proofread for accuracy, grammar, clarity, and consistency. Incorporate feedback and use available performance information to improve content.
  • Develop proficiency in Vibe’s content management system through training, then publish approved updates and help keep website content current, accurate, and accessible.
Education/Experience
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in digital content, copywriting or related field.
  • Demonstrated copywriting ability, supported by a portfolio or writing samples. Be prepared to explain your contribution, the audience and purpose, your writing choices, and how you responded to feedback.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, including clear structure, persuasive messaging, sound grammar, and the ability to make complex information understandable.
  • Ability to manage writing assignments, organize source materials and revisions, and deliver accurate work on deadline.
Skills/Abilities
  • Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to collaborate, ask questions, learn unfamiliar topics, and incorporate feedback.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and an interest in learning answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO).
  • Interest in developing skills in website publishing and content performance.
