You will use competitive, audience, and performance insights to identify opportunities and continuously refine your approach. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role in a fast-moving, performance-oriented digital marketing environment.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement customized content and SEO strategies for enterprise B2B clients, using client goals, historical performance, ongoing campaigns, project phases, and established marketing best practices to drive measurable outcomes.
- Build creative briefs and compelling content campaigns informed by competitor research, audience insights, and strategic opportunities across areas such as customer generation, content production, share of SERP, and LTV modeling.
- Use data from sources such as Google Analytics, CRM platforms, SEMRush, and Ahrefs to establish meaningful client goals, secure internal approval, and communicate those goals effectively with clients.
- Own project execution by ensuring strategies are translated into clearly defined tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines, using Asana to coordinate work across internal specialists, clients, writers, designers, and project managers.
- Partner closely with content writers and designers to deliver campaigns on schedule while maintaining quality standards and ensuring final outputs meet client expectations.
- Serve as the primary interface between clients and internal teams, building trusted relationships that extend beyond individual deliverables and positioning yourself as a strategic consultant for each client’s business.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients through regular meetings and shared communication channels, providing updates on timelines, deliverables, goal progress, opportunities, and changes affecting the account.
- Communicate proactively with internal leadership regarding roadblocks, account growth opportunities, strategic changes, client organizational changes, and other developments that may influence account performance.
- Regularly report on strategy performance and business impact through bi-weekly client meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and two bi-annual business review presentations.
- Monitor account performance against key objectives, including North Star Metric attainment, recurring revenue retention, customer satisfaction, and opportunities for upsells, cross-sells, and referrals.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional services, increased investment within existing service lines, or referrals generated through strong client partnerships.
- Bring a proven track record of implementing SEO and content strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and broader content planning.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret website traffic, SEO performance, and marketing data using platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Have strong client-facing communication skills, with the confidence to manage relationships with key stakeholders, present strategic recommendations, and communicate complex information clearly.
- Be highly familiar with industry tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and comparable SEO and website-crawling platforms.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables effectively.
- Bring previous agency experience and a strong understanding of the pace, client expectations, and delivery requirements associated with an agency environment.
- Have experience working with B2B technology and/or SaaS businesses and understand the marketing challenges and growth dynamics of these industries.
- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content, with a proactive approach to staying current with industry developments.
- Show an active interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation, and understand how they can be applied to improve marketing performance and operational efficiency.
- Be collaborative, proactive, commercially aware, and comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment while maintaining strong relationships with clients and distributed team members.
- Competitive compensation supported by a defined living-wage approach.
- Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage for employees and their families, including a 100% employer-paid employee plan and 50% employer contribution toward dependent coverage.
- Mental wellbeing support, including access to certified therapists and a Headspace membership.
- Gympass membership to support physical wellbeing and fitness.
- Unlimited PTO with a two-week minimum, paid company holidays, a paid birthday day off, and an end-of-year recharge period from December 24 through January 1.

- Traditional and Roth 401(k) options with a 3% company contribution match.
- Annual bonuses based on tenure, with the total potential amount increasing over time.
- Annual anniversary trips with peers and executive leadership.
