Continuous Improvement Engineer – Internship (F/M)

Summary

Internship role improving inspection and reporting workflows by building and deploying AI tools, including automation and agentic systems.

We are looking for a motivated postgraduate intern to join our Cebu team as a Continuous
Improvement Engineer, with a strong focus on our AI programs. You will support process
improvement initiatives while playing a hands-on role in developing and rolling out AI tools
across inspection, protocol, and reporting operations.


Key Responsibilities & Potential Responsibilities :

  • Audit Report AI Project: take ownership of the audit report automation project from Chloe, supporting development, testing, and improvement.
  • Audit Protocol AI Project: study the full audit protocol process with the Cebu team, build an automation plan, and potentially build automated AI workflows.
  • QIMA GPT Agent Enhancements: enhance QIMA GPT to support the Protocol team's inspection of tickets, improving accuracy and adoption.
  • Agentic Worker Platform: contribute to technical AI projects linked to the agentic worker platform (built by Paul), scope to be assessed.
  • Continuous Improvement: support process mapping, data analysis, and documentation to understand any existing process that can be improved.
  • AI Adoption: promote an AI-first mindset across daily operations and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Carry out other related tasks as required.
  • Recently graduated, or completing a degree, in Engineering, Data/AI, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in continuous improvement, process optimization, and applied AI.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Comfortable with APIs, automation, and iterative development.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and an AI-first mindset.
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
