Continuous Improvement Specialist
Summary
Leads process improvement projects in manufacturing or service operations, coaching teams to boost delivery, productivity, quality, and cost while standardizing best practices.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Lead moderate-to-complex improvement initiatives across a site, region, or end-to-end value stream (manufacturing and/or service).
Provide facilitation and coaching to cross-functional teams, standardize best practices, and drive sustained performance improvements.
The position is to coordinate and lead a wide range of activities that are designed to improve on-time delivery, productivity, quality, cost, safety, and/or
environmental performance. The position will assist in the evaluation process, justification of improvements, and with carrying out the implementation plan.
Focus: deliver multi-functional results and mentor others in CI methods.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES
• Lead complex projects and value-stream improvements.
• Coach cross-functional teams; mentor junior CI practitioners.
• Establish control plans and measurement systems for sustainment.
