Continuous Improvement Technician

About the role

They will be in charge of leading continuous improvement projects (quality / cost) and assisting with process incidents in the manufacturing plant. They will also carry out the industrialization of our products (process design / tooling / launch). They will collaborate at a process level with workshops and external suppliers.

What you'll do

• Taking responsibility for the application of continuous improvement in the plant (processes, products, facilities, and human team).
• Apply the necessary measures to achieve optimization and excellence.
• Monitor the performance level of continuous improvement objectives.
• Coordinate the setting of improvement objectives, disseminating the information to the different departments of the company, and involving the workers.
• Plan human and technical resource needs to guarantee the performance of customer specifications, setting objectives and strategies to follow to create a total quality culture and achieve the implementation of continuous improvement.
• Support the management, feedback, and review of the steps in each process and clarity in the responsibility of each action performed.
• Ensure the long-term sustainability of continuous improvement by seeking sustainable solutions rather than just one-off fixes to a problem.
• Collaborate with the quality-environment department, the occupational prevention, safety, and health department, and the rest of the company's departments.
• Identify improvement opportunities in processes by leading associated projects from planning, through implementation, to full consolidation.
• Ensure the correct structure and transfer of knowledge according to the implementation strategy, establishing the pillars of LEAN production.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Industrial electronics and automation engineering, or mechanical, or mechatronics, or industrial technology
• Experience not required, although it is valued
• Language: English B2
