Contract Administrator
About the Role:
As a Contracts Administrator, you are accountable for managing and administering contracts across all phases of a project - from award to final completion - ensuring compliance, accuracy, and alignment with Ashley Cooper Construction’s business systems, policies, and processes.
You play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery team by managing procurement, variations, claims, and reporting, while maintaining strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your attention to detail, commercial acumen, and proactive approach help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
The role contributes directly to the company’s reputation for excellence by upholding professional standards, fostering collaboration, and embedding consistency and quality into every project - the ACC Way.
What You Will Be Doing
Preconstruction
- Support tendering, document control and procurement planning to ensure smooth project mobilisation
Construction
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, trade packages, variations and progress claims
- Maintain contract registers, including RFI, EOT and variation logs
- Coordinate subcontractor documentation, including insurances, licences and safety submissions
Commercial
- Prepare, submit and track progress claims and variations
- Assist with monthly cost reporting, budgets and retention releases
People & Culture
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Support the Project Manager and wider team in achieving project goals

What You Will Bring
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Contracts Administration role within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes and commercial management
- Bachelor of Construction Management or related qualification, or equivalent experience
- White Card and Open Driver's Licence
- Proficiency with project management software
