Work Environment: NGL offers a flexible work environment where employees can work fully remote, hybrid or onsite at our Madison, Wis. office. We support virtual working arrangements in certain states outside of WI.
A Day in the Life:
The primary focus of the Contract Administrator is to work with internal and external sales teams to process producer contracts for multiple lines of business and set up commission related hierarchies to ensure producers are paid correctly. This includes the utilization of multiple systems, performing various background and license checks and working with Legal teams to ensure all state guidelines for the appointment of producers are met. In this role, work is performed under limited supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Enter producer data into multiple NGL systems for all lines of business
- Complete an average of 40 new contracts a week while maintaining a 5 business day turnaround time on contracts
- Appointments
- EFT
- Hierarchy(ies)
- Addresses
- Reserve information
- Marketer special handling requests
- Utilize workflow to review contracting paperwork for completeness
- Proper contracting forms and signatures
- Hierarchy and commission requests
- Proper state license
- Marketer special handling requests
- State specific requirements
- Process backgrounds and state appointments
- Utilize current online programs
- Utilize established processes
- Administration of approval processes, as needed
- Utilize workflow to research and update expired license(s)
- Research license with the appropriate department of insurance
- Update administration system
- Add supporting documents to the producer’s file
- Communicate with Marketing Partners and other business units on contracting issues
- Respond to emails and phone calls within acceptable timeframes
- Product approvals
- Commission approvals
- Crossover agents

• Computer skills with the ability to utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Must be self-motivating with the ability to problem solve and initiate improvements as needed
• Manage multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines and adjust schedules as needed in order to meet stated service goals and priorities
Education Requirements:
- Minimum: High School or GED
Years of Experience:
- A minimum of one year of office experience preferred
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred
- Prior insurance experience a plus
