Summary
A contract business analyst reviews government contracts, tracks deliverables, and analyzes data to ensure compliance and support strategic planning for mission success.
- Provide business, organizational, financial, and medical administration support services.
- Support senior leadership through technical analysis and administrative assistance related to operations, compliance, contracting, budgeting, and information management.
- Provide end-to-end support for contract management processes.
- Support IT systems used for logistics and contracting operations.
- Conduct market research to identify suppliers, vendors, industry trends, system performance metrics, and financial data.
- Analyze contractor proposals, evaluate pricing structures, and perform cost analyses to support best-value acquisition decisions.
- Perform business analysis utilizing Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and Government business systems.
- Manage contract business portals and contract file repositories.
- Coordinate contract processes among internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and manage organizational business deliverables.
- Gather and translate contract requirements into operational business solutions.
- Analyze future contract actions and provide operational forecasting to support organizational planning.
- Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), conduct budget analysis, and research historical contract data.
- Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and support contract administration activities.
- Develop executive-level reports, briefings, and presentations based on contract and operational data.
- Strong business analysis and contract administration capabilities.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and operational forecasting.
- Experience conducting market and industry research.
- Ability to evaluate proposals, pricing models, and cost data.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SharePoint and contract-related information systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive briefing preparation.
