Contract - C++ developer

Summary

This role involves developing backend systems for international payment gateway integrations and migrating legacy systems to Base24-eps on Linux and AWS. The developer will work with C++, shell scripting, and PostgreSQL to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and payment security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing project requirements and contribute to functional and technical designs.
  • Development of backend systems for international payment gateway integrations (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UPI).
  • Support migration and implementation to Base24-eps on Linux RHEL or Cloud, replacing legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, frontend, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
  • Work with vendors, schemes and banks under guidance of technical leads.
  • Develop solutions in accordance with PCI-DSS, payment security standards, and international card scheme requirements.
  • Optimize performance and reliability of switching systems and backend services.

Requirments:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on payment systems and switching platforms.
  • Strong experience with Open System RHEL and AWS Cloud.
  • Experience in C++, Korn Shell Script and Linux-based development.
  • Experience with IBM MQ middleware will be advantages.
  • Experience with Base24-eps will be advantages.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database.
