Job Summary
Develop and present innovative interior design concepts, prepare detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts and create engaging presentations to communicate ideas effectively
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, specifications, and design proposals to support project development
- Assist in selecting materials, colours, and furniture to align with design objectives and client preferences
- Produce comprehensive design documentation and project presentations as required to facilitate project approval
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience of 1–3 years in interior design or a strong portfolio for fresh graduates
- Proficiency in design and drafting software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent
- Ability to produce 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, 3D visualisations, and presentation materials
- Understanding of space planning, materials, colours, furniture, and interior finishes
