Job Description

• Lead the Singapore Contract Logistics business with full P&L accountability, including annual business planning, budgeting, performance management and execution of approved business strategies.
• Drive business growth and profitability by identifying market opportunities, developing new customers and collaborating with other business units to provide integrated logistics solutions.
• Oversee customer service and warehouse operations to ensure service quality, operational efficiency and fulfilment of customers’ requirements and agreed service levels.
• Ensure effective management of inbound/outbound operations, inventory accuracy, stock control and management reporting, with appropriate operational controls in place.
• Oversee FTZ and/or bonded warehouse operations ensuring compliance with applicable Singapore Customs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage company assets, warehouse capacity, manpower and other resources effectively to improve productivity and optimize profitability.
• Oversee financial and accounting controls, including revenue, cost, billing, receivables and operational expenses, to support sound financial and risk management.
• Ensure effective implementation and utilization of the company’s operating systems, including Warehouse Management System (WMS) and management reporting tools.
• Ensure operations comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, company policies, workplace safety and security requirements.
• Lead, develop and manage the team to build operational capability, accountability and a strong customer- and profit-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related discipline; equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in contract logistics, 3PL or warehouse operations, with demonstrated leadership or management responsibility.
• Relevant operational experience in Free Trade Zone (FTZ) warehouse operations is required; bonded/licensed warehouse experience is an advantage.
• Strong commercial capability with experience in business development, customer management and contract logistics solution development.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, operational controls and Singapore customs/compliance requirements.
• Experience managing customer service, warehouse operations and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in WMS, ERP or other logistics management systems, with the ability to use operational and financial data for decision-making.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Commercially driven with a strong sense of accountability, integrity, risk awareness and commitment to operational excellence.
