SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking Contract Management Support Specialists to provide cradle-to-grave acquisition and contracting support to the 633d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia.
The Contract Management Support Specialist will support pre-award, award, post-award, contract review, and related acquisition activities using standard procurement methods in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable supplements.
What You’ll Do:

Provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise on acquisition and contracting processes and procedures.
Support acquisition planning, solicitation preparation, synopsis development, market research, and development of specifications, descriptions, and performance work statements.
Conduct market research and analysis and provide supporting data for Government acquisition decisions.
Review solicitation, contract award, and modification documentation and provide technical analysis supporting Government review.
Assist with negotiation planning, acquisition documentation, contract terms and conditions, abstracts, regulatory clearances, and award documentation.
Support contract administration activities, including contract files, invoice reviews, modifications, performance monitoring, site visits, labor checks, expenditure logs, and contract closeout.
Prepare or assist with negotiation memoranda, cure/show-cause documentation, and other post-award correspondence for Government review.
Draft acquisition documents such as Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), acquisition plans, source selection plans, business clearance memoranda, and related documentation.
Support acquisition process improvement and development or presentation of formal or just-in-time contracting training.

What You Bring:
Required:

Minimum eight (8) years of experience in contracting encompassing pre-award, award, and post-award functions.
Level II Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP)/Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Contracting Certification or commercial equivalent.
Demonstrated knowledge of the FAR and acquisition processes.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with applicable procurement and acquisition systems, including CON-IT and KT FileShare (KTFS).
Experience with Wide Area Workflow/Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
Strong communication, briefing, organizational, and technical writing skills.

The position is located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), VA. Normal duty hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.
