Job Role: Contracts Manager
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday
to Friday - flexible to meet the needs of the business
Salary: £32,000-£35,000 per annum + car
allowance/company car
Location: Hybrid/Field-Based - with regular travel to customer sites across
the UK and attendance at meetings at our Chester Head Office.

Overview
An exciting
opportunity has arisen to join Anchor Group Services as a Contracts Manager,
overseeing the delivery of security services across a portfolio of customer
sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity

operational excellence, client satisfaction, compliance, and commercial
performance across a diverse national portfolio.
You will be responsible for
leading Site Managers, Security Supervisors, and frontline security teams,
ensuring all sites consistently deliver against contractual requirements, Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs), and customer expectations. Reporting to the
Operations Director, you will act as the primary operational contact for key
clients, developing strong stakeholder relationships and driving continuous
improvement across the portfolio.
The successful candidate will be
a highly organised operational leader with experience managing multi-site
security contracts and a strong understanding of logistics, warehousing,
distribution, and commercial environments.
A full UK driving licence and
willingness to travel nationally is essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership
across a portfolio of customer sites.
- Ensure all security services are
delivered in line with contractual requirements, Service Level Agreements
(SLAs), and client expectations.
- Manage and support Site
Managers, Security Supervisors and onsite security officers across multiple
locations.
- Conduct regular site
inspections, audits, and quality assurance visits to ensure compliance and
service excellence.
- Build and maintain strong
relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as the primary escalation
point for operational matters.
- Lead KPI review meetings and
provide detailed management information and performance reports.
- Ensure full compliance with SIA
requirements, company policies, assignment instructions, GDPR, and Health &
Safety legislation.
- Investigate incidents, security
breaches, complaints, and operational challenges, implementing corrective
actions where required.
- Support business continuity
planning and ensure sites remain resilient to operational disruptions.
- Manage labour deployment,
workforce planning, recruitment requirements, and absence management across the
portfolio.
- Conduct performance reviews,
welfare meetings, investigations, and disciplinary processes in partnership
with HR.
- Monitor contract performance,
budgets, and labour costs to ensure efficient and commercially viable service
delivery.
- Identify opportunities for
continuous improvement, innovation, and added value for clients.
- Support contract mobilisation,
variation requests, and business growth opportunities where required.
- Maintain accurate operational records, audit
trails, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large, multi-site security
contracts.
- Experience within logistics, warehousing, distribution, or
industrial environments is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate,
develop, and manage remote teams.
- Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder
engagement experience.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing staffing
budgets and contract performance.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving
skills.
- Experience managing service delivery against KPIs and
contractual requirements.
- Good understanding of SIA regulations, Health & Safety
legislation, risk management, and security compliance standards.
- Experience conducting audits, investigations, and operational
reviews.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook,
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using workforce management systems such as
Timegate, Partner System, or similar platforms.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to
customer sites across the UK.
- SIA Frontline Licence desirable but not essential.
- Full 5-year checkable employment history.
- Right to work in the UK.
