Contract Operational Risk Analyst (Banking), up to $4800

Summary

This role involves supporting risk governance frameworks, monitoring operational risks, and preparing reports for a banking environment. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.

Job Descriptions:

Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of risk governance and risk management practices across the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of risk governance frameworks, policies, and processes.
  • Assist in the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key risks and control-related matters.
  • Prepare and coordinate risk reports, dashboards, management updates, and governance committee materials.
  • Facilitate risk and control assessments, attestations, monitoring activities, and related governance exercises.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to promote effective risk management practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Support investigations, reviews, reporting, and maintenance of relevant risk governance records and registers.
  • Monitor emerging risks, industry developments, and regulatory changes, and support the implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measures.
  • Contribute to risk-related projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities as required.

Period: 1 year contract

Location: Raffles Place, with relocation to Punggol in Apr - May 2027

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: up to $4800

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree holder with an interest in developing a career in risk management, governance, audit, compliance, or related disciplines.

  • Experience in banking, financial services, risk management, audit, compliance, or operational risk would be advantageous.

  • Good understanding of risk management principles and governance practices.

  • Knowledge of consumer banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

  • Ability to analyse information, identify risks, and support the development of practical solutions.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
