Health by Design, a value-based health care organization is seeking a locum or contract family or internal medicine physician to provide coverage in our Albuquerque, New Mexico Wellness Center.
Our value-based primary care model eliminates the pressure of RVUs and high-volume schedules, replacing them with meaningful patient relationships, collaborative care, and the time to practice thoughtful medicine.
In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages in an out-patient clinic setting, staffed with Registered Nurses. You are never expected to manage everything on your own. Our integrated care model surrounds both physicians and patients with an experienced care team that works together every day.
Practice Medicine—Not Production Medicine
- Clinic hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. No late hours and no call. Administrative time is built into your morning and afternoon schedule, so there is also no after-hours charting
- 30- and 60- minute appointments
- Low patient volume of 8-14 patients a day
- MD or DO from an accredited U.S. Medical School
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
- Current unrestricted medical license (New Mexico)
- Current BLS certification
