Contract Security Officer

Position Summary

The Contract Security Officer (CSO) provides armed physical security services to protect Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employees, facilities, and U.S. Government property and assets from loss, theft, damage, unauthorized use, criminal acts, espionage, sabotage, and terrorism. The CSO implements the Facility Security Management Program (FSMP) at the assigned site, including visitor and vehicle control and screening, monitoring of cameras and intrusion detection/alarm systems, magnetometer and x-ray screening, and other duties defined in the site-specific Facility Post Orders.
