Contract Supervisor

Do you enjoy working with contractors and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes? We are looking for a motivated Contract Supervisor to join our Roading team.

In this role, you will:

• Assist in fault identification, programming, auditing and quality control of Councils infrastructure maintenance.
• Monitor minor capital works including overseeing contractor performance and expenditure monitoring to ensure work meets agreed standards and timeframes.
• Cover work areas including roading, signage and streetlighting maintenance.
• Conduct onsite inspections, monitor compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Be responsible for ensuring contract documentation, reports and records are up to date.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an NZ Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in infrastructure maintenance, particularly roading.
• At least 3 years experience in infrastructure maintenance.
• Can build and foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides a strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
