Builds and improves scalable back-end applications, writes automated tests, and contributes to architecture, using Linux, SQL/NoSQL databases, and CI/CD/DevOps tooling; hybrid split between an Amsterdam office and remote work.
On behalf of a trusted client in the Netherlands, we’re looking for a Medior Python Developer to join a professional, technically driven team. You’ll help develop and improve complex software solutions, working with fellow developers to build reliable, scalable and future-proof applications.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain back-end software in Python
- Build and optimise scalable applications
- Improve existing systems and functionality
- Write and run automated tests
- Contribute ideas on technical solutions and software architecture
- Work closely with other developers in a technical team
What you bring
- Around 3 years of relevant experience as a Python developer
- Solid knowledge of Python and back-end development
- Experience working with Linux
- Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps or cloud technologies
- A good understanding of software architecture and code quality
- An independent, solution-oriented way of working
