Contractor, System Test, CBG Credit, Risk Management Group

DBS Bank (Taiwan) is seeking a skilled and experienced System Test Contractor to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can contribute their expertise to ensure the quality and reliability of new banking system.

Project Overview:

This role will primarily support the testing phases of new banking system, including functional, data migration, and user acceptance testing. The contractor will play a critical role in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to ensure a smooth system implementation and operation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for the new banking system.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, data migration, and UAT.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using relevant defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand system requirements and design effective test strategies.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to project stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with data validation and backend testing.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualifications:
  • Software: Office application (word, power point, excel) is must
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Able to read/write/communicate in English
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA) and defect tracking systems is a plus
• Availability:
  • Ability to commit to a contract term till 2026/12/30
  • Availability to work full time during standard business hours, and able to accept any flexibility working hour arrangement
