Contracts Manager
Description
The contracts manager is responsible for leading and governing the company’s contracts at a corporate level, ensuring that all commercial engagements are commercially sound, risk-controlled, and aligned with approved development and investment strategies.
Key responsibilities:
Contracts governance
- Establish, manage, and continuously improve the company’s contractual frameworks, templates, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the review and negotiation of commercial terms and conditions for consultants, contractors, operators, and service providers.
- Ensure consistent contractual standards, liabilities, and risk allocation across all projects.
- Approve contract amendments, variations, and settlements within delegated authority.
- Manage commercial negotiations for all contracts throughout its formation stage.
- Ensure contracts adequately protect the company’s commercial, technical, and financial interests.
Tender management
- Manage end-to-end tender processes for consultants and contractors packages.
- Define and manage award criteria, weighting, and scoring for tenders.
- Review commercial submissions and evaluation reports.
Contractor & consultant pre-qualification
- Establish and manage the contractors’ and consultants’ pre-qualification process.
- Define assessment criteria.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of 8 - 12 years of experience in contract management.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and compliance regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to analyze complex legal documents and provide actionable insights.
- Real estate field experience is preferable.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
