Contracts Manager (Onshore Projects)
Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual, commercial, and legal aspects of major oil & gas projects across both pre-award and post-award phases. This role includes managing client and vendor agreements, risk reviews, claims, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in EPC/EPCM environments and a proven track record working on ADNOC or similar high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contracts with Clients
- Partnering agreements with potential partners
- Exclusivity/tie-up arrangements with vendors/subcontractors, including, contractual terms and conditions with key potential vendors/subcontractors
- Risk review process including, identification, mitigation and management of contractual risks
- Ensure compliance with commercial procedures and that best practice is established, and promote continuous improvement to protect Company's commercial position
- Ensure that there are adequate commercial resources within the commercial team to meet the needs of the pre award/bidding activities
- Ensure all commercial team members have clear roles, responsibilities, accountability and established authority levels
Required Qualification and Skills
- Bachelors Degree
- 15+ years of experience in contracts management within oil & gas sector
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and risk management skills
- Solid understanding of international contracting practices and legal frameworks
- Candidates with ADNOC project experience will be given preference
