Contracts Manager (Tender)

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in government and private sector projects. In view of recent expansion plan, they are looking for a Contracts Manager to take charge of tender matters for large-scale building projects.

Job Description:

• Lead the tendering process from inception to completion, ensuring the submission of high-quality and competitive proposals.
• Develop and implement tender strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to outline bid strategies and win themes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical content accuracy and relevance.
• Manage the creation of compelling written and visual content.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with tender submissions.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Work closely with the finance team to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and financial guidelines.
• Participate in debrief sessions to gather feedback from clients.
• Analyze tender outcomes and share insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management or relevant field
• Possesses at least 10 - 15 years of A1 contractor QS experience (project value >$100m)
• Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
• Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team.
