Alstom is seeking a dedicated Train Control Engineer to contribute to control engineering activities from architecture to detailed specification. You will deliver functional specs, electrical schematics and interface documents for train control functions, collaborating with system engineers and test teams.
The ideal candidate has an engineering degree with 1–2 years in electrical or automation engineering and hands-on experience with IEC61131-3 software or MATLAB/Simulink.
Perform control engineering activities from architecture to detailed specifications. Deliver Train Control engineering outputs including functional specs and electrical schematic. Provide support for supplier interfaces and test activities. Ensure standardization and reuse of previous project references. Contribute to train integration and validation efforts. Engineer degree or Master of Engineering from a university or engineering school. Experience in electrical and schematic design activities. 1–2 years of experience in electrical, electro-mechanical or automation engineering. Experience with validation and verification testing or related activities. Hands-on experience with IEC61131-3 software or model-based tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
