Control Engineer
Location: West
Salary: Up to $5,500 + AWS + VB
Job Descriptions:
- Design, configure, and implement SCADA solutions with Ignition Vision and Perspective modules.
- Integrate SCADA with PLCs, sensors, OPC servers, databases, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
- Build and customize data visualization dashboards within Ignition using Jython (Python) and SQL to support operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Implement analytics for downtime, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and root cause analysis.
- Develop frameworks to detect anomalies and trigger predictive maintenance using equipment and sensor data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or related discipline.
- 3 years of experience with SCADA systems development using Ignition with data knowledge of Ignition Tag Historian, Reporting, Vision and Perspective modules.
- Proficient in designing data visualization tools and build intuitive dashboards.
- Proficient in Python (Jython) and SQL for scripting, data queries, and logic building.
- Knowledge understanding of OEE and SPC.
- Self-motivated and work with cross-functional teams.
