Position: Control System Engineer (SCADA / PLC / Automation)
Location: International Business Park (Nearest MRT: Jurong East walking distance)
Working hours: 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7000 + AWS + Medical/ Dental Allowance
Duration: Permanent
Industry: Building Automation / BMS / HVAC Controls
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and configure automation system applications and graphical user interfaces.
Plan system configurations and prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams and field termination drawings.
Set up and maintain system databases, control narratives and functional descriptions.
Prepare testing and commissioning documentation.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing to verify system functionality and performance.
Troubleshoot system configuration and integration issues during project execution.
Coordinate with project teams, engineers, vendors and customers on system implementation.
Provide technical support during site testing, commissioning and project handover.
Ensure engineering deliverables meet company standards, client requirements and industry regulations.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in automation systems, SCADA, PLC programming, control systems or system integration will be advantageous.
Knowledge of SCADA, Python or PLC programming will be advantageous.
Able to read and prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams, vendors and customers.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
