Salary Range: $128,000 - $179,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across the East Tawas area seeking Controllers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Usual Responsibilities
- Maintain internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.
- Report financial results to ownership or executive leadership.
- Oversee the monthly close and prepare financial statements.
- Manage cost accounting and inventory valuation.
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts.
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll staff.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital.
Recommended Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Strong cost accounting and standard costing knowledge.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
- Proven record supervising an accounting team.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Seven or more years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
Bonus Qualifications
- Multi-site or multi-entity consolidation experience.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing or intercompany accounting.
- MBA or advanced finance degree.
- Public accounting experience.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
