Controller

Golden Valley Bank is currently seeking an experienced Controller. The Controller is a key member of the bank’s finance and accounting leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory reporting processes.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, preferably within a community banking environment, along with the ability to partner effectively with executive management, auditors, regulators, and business leaders. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will be very organized, have strong management and leadership skills with the ability to work well independently and in a collaborative environment. We expect applicants to have a strong sense of accountability, self-motivation, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
