Must Haves:
- Public Accounting experience
- Active CPA
- Experience within the nonprofit sector, including work with nonprofit clients (i.e., higher education institutions, foundations, government entites, or other nonprofits
- Experience with government audits
- Exposure to organizations with annual revenues ranging from $20 million to $500 million
- Experience with Consolidated Fiscal Reports (CFRs)
- MBA
- Oversee accounting and financial operations related to government contracts and grants.
- Manage government contract billing, collections, compliance, reporting, budgeting, and close processes.
- Lead and coordinate government, Uniform Guidance, CFR, and other financial audits.
- Maintain strong accounting controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and government requirements.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and other departments on financial reporting and contract matters.
- Support implementation and use of systems including Workday and Salesforce.
