Controlling Business Analyst (f/m/div.)

Summary

Analyze financial data and P&L performance to support business decisions, prepare reports in SAP, and identify cost-saving opportunities for Bosch’s operations.

As a Controlling Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through data-driven financial analysis and insightful reporting. Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure sound financial decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainable growth.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Monitoring and analyzing profit and loss (P&L) performance to ensure alignment with budget targets and business objectives.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports on overhead costs, budget variances, and key performance indicators.
  • Supporting monthly closing activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting in SAP.
  • Providing meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data and business performance metrics.
  • Collaborating with directors and managers to identify efficiency improvements and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Preparing recurring and ad-hoc management reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of controlling, reporting, and financial analysis processes.

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience in financial controlling, business controlling, cost accounting, financial planning, or financial analysis.
  • Experience working with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis is considered an advantage.

Know-how

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and key performance indicators.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
