Control Engineering Specialist (Building Automation)
Location: International Business Park (Jurong East)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: SGD 6,000 – SGD 9,000
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in BMS control engineering, testing, and commissioning.
Experience with HVAC systems including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, VRF/VRV, and Ventilation Systems.
Knowledge of BMS, DDC, and PLC control systems.
Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based communication protocols.
Knowledge of airside and water-side HVAC control principles.
Knowledge of temperature, humidity, pressure, and flow control strategies.
Experience in DDC/PLC programming and control logic development.
Ability to interpret HVAC mechanical drawings, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience with automation and instrumentation control architectures.
Willing to travel overseas for project support, commissioning, and training.

Job Description
1. BMS Control Engineering & System Development
Design, develop, and implement BMS control strategies for HVAC systems including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, VRF/VRV, and Ventilation Systems.
Develop and modify control logic and graphical user interfaces for building automation systems.
Configure and integrate communication networks using BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based communication protocols.
Design and validate airside and water-side control sequences for HVAC systems.
2. Testing, Commissioning & Project Support
Perform engineering, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of BMS, DDC, and PLC-based control systems.
Support installation, startup, and commissioning activities for building automation projects.
Review HVAC mechanical drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
Prepare commissioning reports, operation manuals, control narratives, points lists, and I/O schedules.
3. Automation Technology & Technical Support
Evaluate and implement building automation technologies and control architectures.
Provide technical guidance on BMS engineering, programming, testing, and commissioning.
Conduct technical training on HVAC control systems and building automation solutions.
Travel overseas to support project commissioning, troubleshooting, and engineering training activities.
