Controls Engineering Supervisor

What is your role?

Lead the Controls Engineering team to strengthen manufacturing performance through automation, process improvement, and engineering excellence. This role is responsible for advancing safety, quality, cost, and operational capability by implementing effective control strategies, supporting reliable systems, and developing engineering talent within the plant.

Major responsibilities and tasks of the position:

• Lead and develop the Controls Engineering team by setting priorities, assigning objectives, and supporting employee growth and performance
• Drive controls and automation projects that improve plant safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
• Oversee plant control systems strategy, including standards for PLCs, HMI/SCADA, measurements, and critical process controls
• Champion engineering best practices related to system safety, calibration, certification, and measurement system analysis

What do you need to have?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• At least 3 years of controls and/or measurements engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of direct people management experience
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and programming capabilities
• Experience with automation technologies and process improvement initiatives
• English proficiency
• Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills
