Conventional Machining - Radiance Operator - 1st Shift

Job Summary:

Set-up surface grinders to machine sapphire brackets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Run surface grinders and CNC production machines
• Inspect parts to make sure they are within specification
• Read and understand a drawing and machine parts to specification
• Use of micrometer and optical comparator for inspection
• Make machine adjustments based on measurements
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Machining background a plus
• Experience with micrometers a plus
• 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time
