Conventional Machinist

Performs conventional machining operations in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate, quality, and timely production of machined parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate conventional/manual machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses.
• Perform machining operations based on approved blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and adjust machine parameters as needed.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform basic CNC machine operations, when required.
• Conduct routine machine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production standards.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are properly handled and stored
