Laurel Parc seeks a Full-Time, experienced Cook to join our culinary team and offers a low-pressure, professional kitchen where work-life balance is possible!
Schedule: 11:30am - 7:30pm
Shift: Full-Time
Pay Range: $23.00 - $23.50
Job Duties:
- Understanding of culinary terms, techniques & safety
- Some proficiency in kitchen operations & equipment
- Completes inventory, stocking & ordering of items
- Ensures presentation of food items adhere to guidelines.
- Follows recipes, scales ingredients and uses proper kitchen techniques when preparing resident meals.
- Ensures kitchen runs efficiently by completing prep cooking as needed.
- Keeps kitchen and workstations clean and sanitary.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Displays excellent communication including ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
