At Home Senior Living of Thomson is seeking a dependable and caring Cook to join our dietary team! We are looking for someone who enjoys preparing delicious meals and takes pride in creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals according to established menus and recipes.

Presentation and plating skills a must.

Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in accordance with food safety and infection control guidelines.

Follow residents’ dietary needs and report any concerns or emergencies to the supervisor.

Assist with daily kitchen cleaning, equipment maintenance, and food storage.

Complete required dietary documentation and report accidents or equipment issues promptly.

Treat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Follow all community policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

2 weekends a month required.

Qualifications:

Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.

A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve seniors.
