Cook- Childcare

Are you experienced in the kitchen, food handling, and want to bring happiness to children as you provide them with home cooked meals? Small Hands Big Dreams of Bainbridge is a high quality, 5 star awarded preschool and child care. We provide loving, healthy environments for children as well as nutritious meals. We are now interviewing for a full-time cook to work approximately 7:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. daily, excluding weekends. The cook must be able to fulfill the following:

1. Effectively carrying out daily food program
2. Understand and follow all CACFP regulations and guidelines
3. Deliver meals to each classroom at designated time
4. Collect dishes from each classroom in a timely manner
5. Follow planned menus
6. Document changes made to menus on the center menu
7. Maintain kitchen and ensure cleaning/ and sanitizing schedule is followed
8. Write and maintain a recipe book of all recipes used
9. Maintain organization of foods and inventory
10. Cut any foods that are potential choking hazards for children before delivery
11. Provide to classrooms utensils for serving and cutting
12. Prepare meals and serves at center events
13. Provide food alternates to children with allergies
14. Place food and supply order on Mondays or designated day
15. Maintain healthful procedures
