Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cook to join our team. In this role, you will prepare high-quality meals, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and support a smooth and efficient food service operation. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, follows food safety standards, and takes pride in delivering consistent results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• Set up workstations with the necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment before each shift
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperature throughout preparation and service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and handling procedures at all times
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and proper storage of ingredients
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service
• Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or food quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Support additional kitchen tasks as needed to meet operational needs

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation methods, kitchen equipment, and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
