Cook/Dietary Aide 4 days per week
Bethany of the Northwest, a non-profit, church owned organization with a mission to take care of our community, is looking for a Cook and Dietary Aide to work at our Assisted Living facility Silver Crest. The right candidate will have great experience in preparing nutritious meals in large numbers for residents, a current Washington State Food Handler’s permit, a friendly attitude, and excellent communication skills.
Schedule: Cook - Friday & Saturday 11.30am to 6.30pm
Dietary Aide support - Tuesday & Wednesday 6.30am to 2.30pm (total 32 hours)
Pay rate: $21-22 per hour DOE

Job Responsibilities:
1. Review menus prior to preparation of food.
2. Coordinate Dietary Services with other departments as necessary.
3. Assure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
4. Assist in placing orders, taking inventory and other relative duties.
5. Assist in developing methods of determining quality and quantity of food served.
6. Report all accidents/incidents as established by policy.
