Silver Foxes Senior Living & Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Cook to join our Dietary Department.
Our cooks play an important role in our residents’ daily experience by preparing meals that are nutritious, enjoyable, and served with care. If you enjoy working in a team environment and take pride in preparing quality food, we would love to have you join us.
Compensation
$16.00 per hour

Responsibilities
-
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and resident dietary needs
-
Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and special diet requirements
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
-
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
-
Assist with meal preparation, service, and cleanup
-
Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team
-
Follow facility policies and state and federal food-service regulations
Qualifications
-
Must be at least 18 years old
-
Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred
-
Long-term care or healthcare food-service experience is a plus, but not required
-
Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
-
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation requirements
