The Market Bar, located inside the beautiful Homewood Suites by Hilton Newport Cincinnati, is looking for a dependable, energetic, and talented Cook to join our hospitality team. If you enjoy preparing great food, working in a fast-paced environment, and creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Our Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting quality food while maintaining Hilton brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• Receive, rotate, and properly store food products
• Assist with inventory management and minimizing food waste
• Work collaboratively with hotel and restaurant team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, restaurant, hotel, or food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds
• Food Handler Certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
