Summary

Reporting to the Kitchen Supervisor, the Cook – Part Time, As Needed (PRN) manages all responsibilities associated with providing meals to meals for clients, children, and staff on the Nexus campus, as well as for occasional on campus events and meetings. Responsible for general upkeep and cleanliness of kitchen and dining area, and maintaining inventory and food storage room.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals as defined by weekly menus, under the direction of the Kitchen Supervisor.
• Perform or supervise the cleaning of all kitchen equipment and restocking of dry storage area when shipments are received.
• Maintain inventory and use of cooking supply records as required by licensing and accreditation standards.
• Perform other cooking or kitchen duties as required by the Kitchen Supervisor.
• Other duties within the organization as assigned.
