About the role
Princess Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Cook for our Hotels in the Maspalomas area.
What you'll do
Your main functions will be the following:
- To carry out, in a qualified, autonomous, and responsible manner, the preparation, seasoning, and presentation of dishes using the most suitable techniques.
- Assist with orders and the preservation of raw materials and products used in the kitchen.
- Prepare, cook, and present culinary products.
- Collaborate in the setup, service, and takedown of buffets.
- Check and control kitchen equipment, reporting any issues.
- Collaborate in the planning of menus and menus.
- Collaborate in the management of costs and inventories, as well as in purchases.
- Control and care for the preservation and use of products at your disposal.
- Collaborate in the cleaning of walk-in refrigerators and freezers, as well as take responsibility for the cleaning of your work area while complying with food hygiene measures.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in the area of at least one year.
Desired:
- Previous experience in 4-star hotels.
- Studies related to the field.
