We are looking for a Cook for large-scale catering to join one of our centers, covering relief days on an hourly basis. The person hired will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals for large groups, ensuring quality and food safety at all times. If you want to work some extra hours on top of your usual job, this is the opportunity!!
What you'll do
Develop preparations, ensure compliance with defined menus and technical data sheets, and implement good practices.
Prepare adapted menus and diets.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper organization and workflow.
Oversee the inventory of ingredients and materials, placing orders when necessary.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations – HACCP record.
Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks for the work area, and control the use of machinery, materials, and equipment.
Train new team members in cooking practices and company procedures.
What we're looking for
Essential to have a minimum of 1-2 years of specific experience as a Cook in institutional catering, food service, hospitality (menu preparation, HACCP control, food safety).
A resourceful person with strong communication skills.
Teamwork.
Schedule availability.
Nice to have
Training preferably in Hospitality: Higher Technician in Restoration, Technician in Cooking, or similar.
What you'll get

Salary according to the institutional catering collective bargaining agreement.

Schedule: Relief days to cover leave, union hours, etc. Morning shift (7:30-15:00) Afternoon shift (15:00-22:00)
Duration: From Thursday, October 29 to Tuesday, November 3.
