Cooling Engineer/ Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the architecture design, component selection, and performance optimization of data center liquid cooling systems (including Cold-plate, Immersion cooling, CDU, and secondary loops).
Lead the end-to-end implementation of liquid cooling projects, managing schedule, quality, cost, and field construction to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
Resolve complex technical issues during testing, deployment, and operation, including leak management, fluid compatibility, and thermal management.
Serve as the main technical point of contact, driving seamless collaboration and technical reviews with international clients, suppliers, and internal engineering/R&D teams.
Travel to domestic and overseas data center sites as required to oversee installation, commissioning, site acceptance testing (SAT), and client training.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in HVAC, Thermal/Energy Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data center HVAC or liquid cooling. Proven track record in delivering or designing liquid cooling projects (cold-plate or immersion) is highly preferred.
English fluency as a working language is required. Excellent verbal and written English skills, capable of independently leading technical meetings and documentation with global teams.
Willingness to travel frequently (both domestic and international) based on project needs and handle on-site delivery stress.
Strong expertise in liquid cooling infrastructure (chillers, CDUs, Quick Disconnects, piping layouts), familiar with data center standards; strong project management skills (PMP certification is a plus).
