Coordenador de Merchandising - Centro Norte

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Coordenador de Merchandising – Centro Norte based in Brazil.

This is a leadership opportunity focused on driving excellence in retail execution across the Centro Norte region.
You’ll coordinate teams of supervisors and promoters responsible for delivering high-quality execution at points of sale.
The role combines people management, field operations, data analysis, and merchandising strategy to improve retail performance.
You’ll monitor critical indicators such as product availability, shelf share, extra displays, promotional compliance, and Loja Perfeita standards.
Your analysis of field performance will translate into practical action plans designed to reduce out-of-stocks, strengthen brand visibility, and increase sales.
The position requires close collaboration with commercial, customer, and operational teams to deliver a consistent consumer experience.
It is an ideal role for an experienced merchandising leader who is proactive, analytical, and motivated by developing high-performing teams.

• Lead, coordinate, coach, and support teams of supervisors and field promoters, fostering high performance and consistent execution.
• Ensure excellence in point-of-sale execution and achievement of key Loja Perfeita indicators across the assigned region.
• Oversee product availability, replenishment, shelf share, additional displays, promotional compliance, and other critical merchandising metrics.
• Monitor field execution and transform performance data and observations into clear, actionable improvement plans.
• Identify opportunities to reduce out-of-stocks, increase product visibility, and strengthen execution standards across retail locations.
• Drive the implementation of merchandising strategies and ensure alignment with broader commercial objectives.
• Manage outsourced teams effectively, maintaining productivity, accountability, and service quality.
• Build strong working relationships with commercial, customer, and operations stakeholders to support sustainable business growth.
• Analyze execution trends and proactively address operational challenges and opportunities in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in merchandising, including previous experience in a coordination or leadership position.
• Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating outsourced teams, particularly field-based promoters and supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of retail execution, field operations, merchandising practices, and point-of-sale management.
• Solid understanding of execution and Loja Perfeita indicators, including availability, shelf share, extra displays, and promotional compliance.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and translate data into actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other tools used for reporting and analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate across different business areas.
• Proactive, results-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and team-development capabilities.
• Knowledge of the Involves platform is an advantage.
• Experience in FMCG/consumer goods companies is desirable.
• Experience with merchandising, trade marketing, or promotional agencies is a plus.
• Experience working with major cash-and-carry and regional retail customers is advantageous.
• Candidates should be based in Brasília, Cuiabá, Goiânia, or Palmas and already be authorized to work in Brazil.
