The Admissions Coordinator is an entry-level position that serves as the first point of contact in the admissions process. This role manages the intake and processing of incoming applications by requesting and tracking required documentation, ensuring application files are complete, and preparing applications for committee review. The Admissions Coordinator communicates with applicants and providers, maintains accurate records in the CRM (IWDR), and helps ensure a smooth, efficient, and compliant admissions process. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in admissions, client services, or nonprofit operations.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Receive and process applications for all programs
  • Answer incoming phone calls relating to applications and the Admissions process
  • Request, collect and track provider forms
  • Follow up with providers regarding missing documents
  • Follow up with applicants regarding missing documents (after provider follow up is exhausted)
  • Upload and maintain accurate records in CRM (IWDR)
  • Ensure all files are complete, accurate and ready for committee 1st review
  • Monitor approved applicant Facebook page – respond to any questions that relate to Admissions
