Role & responsibilities

Position summary

The Coordinator Business Analyst will support AFIs operational data management, analysis, reporting and digital systems. The role will work with programme teams to understand business requirements, improve data and reporting processes, and support the development, testing and maintenance of AFI software applications, dashboards and digital platforms.

• Manage, validate and analyse program operational data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and event-wise reports, presentations and data summaries for these programmes.
• Develop and maintain programme trackers, dashboards and KPI reports for management review and decision-making.
• Maintain and regularly update the AFI Dashboard and AFI Website with programme data and key indicators.
• Coordinate with programme teams to ensure timely, accurate and complete data submission and reporting.
• Gather and document business and software requirements and translate operational needs into practical technical solutions.
• Support the development, enhancement and maintenance of AFI software applications, dashboards and digital platforms.
• Support application testing, debugging, UAT, API integration, deployment and process automation.
• Maintain programme datasets, reports, software documentation, testing records and system change documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Statistics, Economics, MSW or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experiences in business analysis, data/reporting, software development or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand operational requirements and translate them into data or technology solutions.
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% and would be conformable working with team.

Must have proficient knowledge in:

• Project Management - Jira or Azure Boards, PowerBI, Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Cloud Data Tools - Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric, where applicable.
• Programming Languages - Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Frontend Development - React.js or an equivalent framework.
• Backend Development - Node.js, Django, or an equivalent framework.
• Database Management - MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Cloud Platform & Deployment - Microsoft Azure, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
• Development Tools - Visual Studio Code, Git, and GitHub.
• API Development & Testing - REST APIs and Postman.
• Testing & Debugging - Application testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
• CI/CD & DevOps - Azure DevOps, pipelines, and automated deployment
